Tapes Wide fabric bands that cover the lift cords and routing holes; a decorative look with less light leakage through the slats.
Single end return Cut straight one end, mitred the other for an end return; mainly for end blinds on a bay window where only one end is visible.
Double end return Mitred both ends for end returns; mainly for blinds fitted outside the recess so the valance covers the headrail completely.
Width Measure the width of your window recess in three places — top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as your width.
Drop Measure the drop of your window recess in three places — top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as your drop.
Depth Check your recess depth for any obstructions, e.g. window handles. Ensure there is at least 5 cm at the shallowest point in the recess.
Width Measure the width you would like the blinds to cover. We recommend adding 5 cm overlap each side (10 cm total).
Drop Measure the height you would like the blinds to cover. We recommend adding 7 cm overlap at the top and 5 cm at the bottom (12 cm total).
